The Upper Room Family

Grace Ministries International (GMI) is a church located in Fullerton, CA. The Upper Room, the English High School Ministry of GMI, is on the second floor of the Miracle Center in room 203, located along Brookhurst and Valencia.

Welcome to the Upper Room here at GMI! Our deepest desires are to see young people love The Lord with all of their heart, mind, soul, and strength and to love their neighbors as they love themselves. We desire to raise up a young generation that is well-grounded in the Word of God and is passionate for God. We want to see young people reaching the lost, being equipped to be sent out as student missionaries, and pursuing The Father in their Secret Place. We would love for you to come and be a part of what God is doing in our youth. We envision a generation that is faithful, available, consistent, teachable, and surrendered before the Risen King!
— Pastor Kevin Lee

Transform the World Through the Joy of the Lord

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

–Hebrews 11:6

In the year of 2019, our focus as a church is to unite together as one body to bring joy to the Lord and change the world, to seek His kingdom by living life looking at the reward of heaven. This spirit can only be achieved through a successful relationship with the Lord. The Lord compares our relationship with Him to the relationship between the vine and the branch (John 15:1-8). Jesus is the vine, and we are the branches. If the branches are connected with the vine, they bear much fruit; apart from the vine, they will wither; they will be thrown into the fire as firewood. If disciples bear much fruit, the Lord will be glorified and they will be recognized as disciples of the Lord. In this new year, we pray that you will always remain connected to the Lord and build your faith on His word. Kingdom Culture

Can you see it? Can you feel it? Can you hear it? What if we were a generation that sought the face of God so wholeheartedly that we brought His kingdom on Earth? That we had so much faith, that instead of being enslaved by the culture, we created it: A culture that actively seeks after eternal things. what we may not be able to see with our physical eyes, what we can't tangibly feel, what we can't audibly hear. But we were so confident in the love of God, that it moved us into action with so much force – That it changed our campuses, our families, and our entire generation. The question is: are you ready to be a part of it? What if I told you it's not far from our reach, what if I told you that we can create that culture, a Kingdom Culture.

As a high school ministry, we envision our students to be the ones that seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their daily lives in order to influence the world around them, forming a Kingdom Culture. We want to produce strong disciples of Jesus who are obedient to the word of God and the prompting of the Holy Spirit, who constantly seek to experience and understand God's faithfulness to us in order to, in return, be faithful to God and seek to obey all of God's commands.

Our Vision is to Be

1. A Joyful Church

A church that helps our members encounter and enjoy.

2. A Serving Church

A church that seeks and receives greater rewards in Heaven.

3. A Committed Church

A church that looks to finish the great commission of Jesus Christ.

Our Mission Statement

1. Heart

To be a family and to encourage one another, to empower one another to be disciples and disciple makers.

2. Passion

To actively seek God through the Word and Prayer. To be a ministry that prays and obeys.

3. Pursuit

To engage with our campus, community, and culture with the gospel of Jesus Christ. To carry out the ministry of reconciliation given to us through Jesus.

Mission is Prayer. Mission is Warfare. Mission is Martyrdom.

Connect With Us!

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

–John 13:34-35

Our sole purpose as a church community is to raise up well-rounded disciples of Jesus who have been impacted by God to empower and encourage others in their walks with God, that the student body would be full of passionate worshippers that desire to make the name of Jesus known in any environment they are placed in. As the Upper Room ministry, we want to welcome all to the family of brothers and sisters who consistently build each other up through trust, accountability, encouragement, and prayer.
